From Small to Big Systems
Mech-Chem Associates, Inc. can provide a variety of acid recovery systems, from 10 gph to the above system, which processes 6 tons per hour of hydrochloric acid (HCl) with PLC automation. Mech-Chem provides the complete system design and full integration between the recovery equipment and your operations. The materials of construction include a graphite reboiler and condenser and PTFE lined steel separator, piping and valves.

The Right Materials and the Right Design
The above photo shows a system recovering hydrochloric acid (HCl) from a metal finishing operation. The glass and metal distillation system recovers the contaminated acid at 10 GPH as high purity HCl and recycles it back to the manufacturing operations. The contaminated acid is in the left glass column and the clean acid is seen to the right.
